About

Bridgeopolis LLC, owned by Marvin Raab, started as an American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) Club in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic providing online-only bridge games. In June 2021, we rented some commercial space and continued running Bridge games with Face-to-Face games.

In April, 2022 we collaborated with Nevada Chess, the State affiliate, to provide a venue for the State Seniors and State Girls tournaments. Seeing the need to have a suitable chess club in Las Vegas, we became a US Chess Federation (USCF) affiliate in June 2022 and started hosting regularly-scheduled rated tournaments.

Over the course of the next few months, we refined our Chess tournament offerings and added a variety of activities for local Chess Players.

As of mid-2023, Bridgeopolis Chess offers Chess tournaments for the wide variety of players in our local area. There are over 600 US Chess members in our part of the state ranging from complete beginners to grand masters. We also provide a venue for an occasional FIDE-rated event and can provide a FIDE arbiter upon request.

With our 1,337 square feet of space, 20 tables, and enough comfortable seating for 50+ persons, Bridgeopolis is an ideal location for players interested in playing Chess or other games. In addition, we can also offer players access to 250+ modern board games .

Defining Bridgeopolis Chess and Other Games as a unique club is our creed that requires all players to be friendly and approachable. Rudeness and arrogance are not welcome.

All Chess players who are considering joining our Club are invited to download our Guide to Bridgeopolis Chess to learn more about our tournaments and free membership.
